Spinal Unloading is important

Unload Your Spine Regularly

Use these techniques to take the pressure off your back frequently throughout the day. Be gentle and hold the technique you choose for 10-30 seconds. Repeat as needed but recommended every 20- 30 minutes.

When sitting in a chair put some weight on your feet and push down with your arms until your bottom slightly clears the chair. Can do this is an office or at the traffic lights.

When standing lean forward over a table or countertop, support part of your weight with your arms.

Lie on your back with your knees bent or lie on your back with your lower legs resting on a chair. Gently push on your thighs.
