The majority of people with lower back pain have glutes that don’t ‘turn on’┬á (otherwise known as glute amnesia or inhibition). Additionally, your hamstrings likely ‘feel’ tight because the glutes don’t fire.

In short, you need to perform more Glute activation work such as the Supine Bridge.  You should do this every day 1-3 sets of 15-20 repetitions. No gym is needed so there are no excuses.
